Hi,
I am using VS Express 2008 and I was dealing with the same problem. I found out this article: http://startbigthinksmall.wordpress.com/2009/03/16/visual-studio-tipp-auto-refresh-file-changes/
and that helped me. That popup window asking if I want to reload the file was the problem.
So this is alternative if you don't mind autoreload.
Thanks for your solution anyway.
